We’re told after the private jet landed in paradise, Mike Tyson’s crew were escorted to a meeting and dinner with Prime Minster Gaston Browne, who has been in office since 2014.
Sources familiar with the meeting tell The Blast, PM Browne was adamant about getting Tyson and his organization on board to help bring in more tourism to Antigua.
The country has still been feeling the devastation from Hurricanes Irma and Maria back in 2017, and rely on money brought in from tourism to help rebuild the communities and support the citizens.
One of the serious ideas discussed in the private meeting was a full-scale hotel/resort based off the Tyson Ranch brand and business model.
We’re also told the idea of a Tyson Ranch Casino was talked about, which could include an adjoining cannabis dispensary and consumption lounges.

Sources close to the discussions say the meeting went fantastic, and Tyson even presented the PM with a signed pair of boxing gloves as a gift for the hospitality and token of appreciation for the future success.
The government in Antigua has so much faith in Tyson Ranch boosting tourism, that they have been given a contract to organize one of the country’s biggest events — the annual regatta, which is held during Antigua Sailing Week.
After business was taken care of, we’re told Tyson and his team were taken on a tour of the island as they scouted for possible locations for their resort and HQ.
It’s unclear when official announcements will be made, but sources tell us everyone involved with Tyson Ranch is extremely excited for what the future will hold as they expand out to the Caribbean.
